My name is Roger Brown and the content you see on this blog is the culmination of my personal and extensive research into the many different services, apps and tools out there which can help you to legitimately create additional streams of revenue. Who Am I?
I graduated with a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design in 2002. Art has always been my thing so naturally it made sense to pursue a future in the art field. One of the perks of having worked as a graphic artist is the creative freedom I’ve enjoyed overall. But as enjoyable as the work was, the bills still needed to be paid at the end of each month. And although I didn’t necessarily feel that I wasn’t fairly compensated in the companies that I worked for, I did believe that there had to be a way to make more money without having to go back to college or work a second job.
The Journey Begins…
It was in late 2007 when I took to the internet to research ways to make money online. Every waking minute, I was on the web reading and absorbing everything I could and taking tons of notes along the way. I learned from many successful marketers, website-owners and entrepreneurs who had shared their wisdom on how to make money. They all had faced their own individual struggles initially and dedicated their success to hard work and perseverance.
Hard work wasn’t an issue for me. I just required some direction which I got plenty of from fellow entrepreneurs on various forums. With my design background, it was relatively easy on the technical front for me to put my plans and ideas into action to see what worked and what didn’t. Over time, I understood the importance of search engine optimization (SEO) and its role in getting websites to rank. When I received my first few commissions through my Amazon affiliate links on the first website I had ever built, that was when a light bulb went off in my head.
From there, I devoted a lot of my time towards educating myself further on all the different ways to make money both online and offline. I returned to college for further studies, focusing on social media marketing, website analytics and digital marketing. With the rising gig economy over the past few years, the avenues available to make money have vastly increased. No matter the situation you’re in, you can find some great opportunities out there that fall in line with your skill level or hobbies and interests.
So with that, let’s move forward and find ways to bring a lot more money into your life. My philosophy is that if I was able to learn how to do it, you can too. And if you still think you can’t do it, stick with me. You’ll learn how it’s all done with my guidance.
